Cezar Păvălașcu holds a BA, MA, and PhD in Religious Studies, as well as a BA in Classical Philology from the University of Bucharest, Romania. His academic background and governmental expertise provide a strong foundation for his work in religious affairs, particularly in fostering collaboration between faith communities, state institutions, and civil society.

With a background in religious studies and extensive experience in public administration (over 20 years), he has been involved in policy development, interfaith cooperation, and government initiatives supporting religious freedom in Romania and internationally. He has worked closely with religious organizations, academic institutions, and international partners to advance policies that promote religious pluralism and interfaith dialogue.

He is actively engaged in atrocity prevention efforts, advocating for policies that protect vulnerable religious communities and combat persecution. He collaborates with international organizations and experts to develop strategies aimed at preventing religiously motivated violence and ensuring that religious freedom remains a cornerstone of human rights advocacy.
