Giorgi Sirbiladze

Giorgi Sirbiladze (24.03.1990) joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia in 2015 as Attaché at the Division for Latin American and Caribbean States of the Department of the Americas.  

He holds the Bachelor Degree (BA) of Social Science from the Tbilisi State University -TSU Georgia, in the field of International Relations,.  

In 2010 as Erasmus exchange student he studied Intenational Tourtism Management at High School of Technology and Management (ESTG) of IPVC - Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo, Portugal. 

He is a Master Degree (MA) holder from Tallinn University - TLU Estonia, in International Relations/Conflict Studies. 

In 2016 he attended the diplomatic counrses at the Foreign Service Institute of the Nation (ISEN 51 - Instituto del Servicio Exterior de la Nación) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. 

In the period of 2016-2019, he served as counsellor of the Embassy Georgia in the Federative Republic of Brazil, simultaneously dealing with the bilateral issues with Colombia, Peru and CARICOM. 

In the years 2019-2023, he served as counsellor of the Embassy Georgia in the United Mexican States, also in charge of dealing with bilateral relations with Central American and Caribbean states.  

In the period of November 2023 – June 2025, he served as counsellor at the Division of U.S. and Canada of the Department of the Americas.  

Since July 1, 2025, he serves as counsellor at the Division of U.S. 

Giorgi Sirbiladze is married and has two sons. Except native Georgian language, he speaks English, Portuguese, Spanish and Russian.
